Meiji Savas Whey Protein | Japanese Protein Powder for Muscle Support | 980g

I've tried a couple of flavors from this line, and I've noticed they behave differently when mixed. The fruity varieties tend to create more foam than I expected, which takes some getting used to. The aroma is pleasant enough, but the actual taste is fairly mild and understated compared to other options I've tried. Still a decent product overall.

My partner drinks this regularly, and I decided to try it myself. I had always thought protein powder tasted bad and was hard to get down, but this one is surprisingly easy to drink. It's actually one of the better-tasting options out there, which means I think I can stick with it long-term. I'd recommend it to anyone new to protein supplementation.

If you're choosing based on flavor alone, this is the one. Honestly, I think it's the best-tasting protein option available.

I was hoping for a neutral-tasting protein powder, but this has a very strong fruity flavor that's almost like drinking juice. It's refreshing if you enjoy that taste, but after a few days of using it, the flavor became tiresome and I found myself dreading each shake. The powder mixes incredibly well with no clumps, which is great, but it can't make up for the fact that this flavor just isn't what I wanted.

Drinks easily and mixes well too!

This protein powder is definitely easy to drink and tastes good. The flavor comes through clearly without any artificial aftertaste. My only observation is that it's noticeably sweet—if you prefer more subtle flavors, you might want to mix it with milk rather than water to balance it out. Otherwise, it's a solid product that dissolves well.

This protein powder has become my go-to after every gym session. The fruity flavor is smooth and naturally sweet without that artificial aftertaste—mixes perfectly with just water. I've noticed better muscle recovery and less soreness the next day compared to my previous protein. The no artificial sweeteners thing really matters to me, and this delivers on that promise. Already on my second container and planning to reorder.

This whey protein powder has completely exceeded my expectations! The fruity flavor is absolutely delicious and makes every shake something I actually look forward to drinking. It mixes incredibly smoothly without any clumps or weird texture, which is such a game-changer compared to other powders I've tried. I've definitely noticed a significant improvement in my muscle recovery since I started using it regularly.

This is the best tasting chocolate protein powder I've found. It's even better when mixed with unsweetened soy milk.

I usually prefer the soy version from this brand, but I decided to try the whey this time. I've loved their other flavors, but the chocolate variety caught my eye from the reviews. The moment I opened the container, the cocoa smell was wonderful. The taste is exactly what you'd expect from this trusted brand—rich and delicious. I'm planning to use it as an evening supplement for a while. Definitely buying this again.

The sweetness makes it feel more like a treat than a supplement, which is perfect after a workout. I drink it like I would a juice—totally guilt-free.

Using a shaker makes this dissolve really well. The sweetness level is just right and it's very easy to drink.

I've been having this as part of my morning routine, and the flavor is genuinely delicious. It dissolves so smoothly—no chalky texture at all. Really convenient and tasty.

Solid formula, great taste, definitely reordering this.

This flavor genuinely tastes like strawberry milk. It's delicious, refreshing, and makes me want to drink it even on days when I'm not working out. Mixes easily with water and no grittiness. A real winner if you enjoy fruity flavors.

This protein powder delivers exactly what I need after years of trying different brands. I train five days a week—mix of weight training and HIIT—and recovery used to be a real issue for me. I'd feel sore for days after heavy leg sessions. Since switching to this about six weeks ago, the difference has been noticeable. The fruity flavor is genuinely delicious and mixes instantly in water without any clumping, which sounds minor but makes a huge difference when you're drinking it daily. My muscle recovery after workouts has improved significantly and I'm maintaining more sustained energy throughout the day. The added vitamins and beneficial ingredients seem to make a real difference compared to basic whey powders. This is my go-to protein now and I've already recommended it to two people at my gym.

It's pricier than some alternatives, but wow, it's delicious. This product completely changed how I think about protein supplements—it tastes nothing like what I expected.

This chocolate variety dissolves smoothly even in cold liquids. When mixed with milk it becomes quite sweet—almost like a chocolate beverage. I prefer blending it with unsweetened soy milk for a more balanced sweetness. At first the sweetness surprised me, but I'm really happy with how well it works with plant-based milk. I think I'll be using this for a long time.

It's quite sweet, which takes some getting used to. But compared to other options in this product line, the price point is noticeably lower, so I'm planning to stick with it for a while.

Great flavor, mixes clean every time.

I mix this with milk and it tastes amazing. I honestly can't believe how good this protein powder is—it's the best tasting one I've ever tried. Dissolves perfectly without any chalky aftertaste.

The combination of quality protein and added B vitamins is outstanding. This is a genuinely well-formulated product with excellent flavor to match.

I've repurchased this multiple times now. The flavor is genuinely enjoyable, making post-workout recovery something I actually look forward to. Mixes smoothly with either water or milk, and there's no chalky aftertaste. Highly recommend it.

It's pleasant enough to drink, though I haven't noticed a significant difference in my fitness goals yet. Still figuring out if this is the right product for me.

The flavor is excellent. This is one of the few protein powders I actually look forward to drinking.

I appreciate how well this dissolves—that part lives up to the hype. Unfortunately, the fruity flavor is too sweet for my taste. I found myself dreading each shake rather than looking forward to it, so I won't be repurchasing this particular flavor.

A friend was recovering from an injury and needed to rebuild lost muscle mass. I thought this would be a good supplement to help with their rehabilitation. Hoping it supports their comeback.

It's good and helpful for my fitness routine.

I purchased the chocolate variety expecting that classic chocolate taste with nutritional depth. On its own it's solid, but I discovered it works wonderfully when mixed with berry or citrus-flavored protein drinks to create interesting combinations. It's become my go-to base for flavor experimentation.

Among products made with natural sweeteners, this tastes exceptional. But what really sets it apart is how effortlessly it dissolves—seriously, it's in a league of its own. By the time I've opened the shaker lid, there's barely a bubble left. Perfect for busy mornings when time is tight. It's so convenient that I'd honestly say it's worth the cost.
