About natural material “Salacia”
Over 10 years of research, experimentation, and verification, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical finally discovered the patented ingredient "Neocotalanol" that supports blood sugar level control. They developed the product "Salacia 100" by using Salacia Chinensis to moderate the rise in blood glucose level after meals. Kinki University and Kobayashi pharmaceutical researched over 1000 kinds of ingredients and they found this “Salacia” that is used by Thai and Indian people who have a high proportion of sugar in their diet.
It is also reported that the royal aristocrats drank water in cups made by "Salacia" for their health.
Tokuho’s permission
"Food for specified health use (Tokuho) in Japan" permitted only when the effectiveness and safety set by the government are recognized. Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's "Salacia 100" has obtained the permission of "Tokuho" for its function of "moderating glucose absorption and suppressing the rise in blood glucose level after meals".

The effectiveness of Salacia 100 from the test results
Tests were conducted separately for cases where one tablet of "Salacia 100" was taken with meals and cases where it was not. How to take
